Since 1999, PBS Holding, Inc and its subsidiaries have been contributing time and resources in the cities and counties where it does business. Our local presence and commitment to community citizenship enables PBS to share its family spirit, leadership and talented workforce with the communities it serves - not only to make a profit, but also to make a difference in the lives of the people in the area. We're taking an active role in some of the toughest challenges facing our nation, such as our children's safety and education. In Loving Memory Foundation

In Loving Memory FoundationThe Flaum Souksamlane In Loving Memory Foundation™ (ILMF) is a national non-profit organization whose mission is to assist children who have had one or both parents’ die with emotional, social and often financial strain of grieving a parent’s death through educational materials, scholarships and grants. PBS Holding, Inc. is proud to volunteer and sponsor the outreach program, college scholarships and grants program and other community programs benefiting the ILMF.

San Antonio Live Stock and Rodeo

San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo The San Antonio Livestock Exposition, Inc. has always understood that education is vital to the American agriculture industry. For 56 years, SALE has supported Texas youth by providing them a venue for competition and a market for their junior agricultural and livestock projects. Since SALE's inception in 1950, the Stock Show & Rodeo has grown to be one of the largest and most prestigious, single events in San Antonio with over one million visitors entering the grounds each year. To date, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo educational commitment exceeds $64.5 million with a record $6.2 million committed in 2005 in the form of scholarships, grants, endowments, auction, calf scramble program and show premiums paid to youth. Salvation Army

The Salvation ArmyFor over one hundred years The Salvation Army has been striving to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of men, women and children in Bexar County. During the past months we have been asked to reach deeper to help people in ways in which we could have never imagined. Due to natural disasters Katrina and Rita San Antonio has become the home to many displaced people. It has been a privilege for PBS Holding, Inc. to support the Salvation Army and other area agencies in reaching out to these people as they make the transition from refugees to our neighbors.

Special Olympics

Special Olympics is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition. Special Olympics offer children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round training and competition in 26 Olympic-type summer and winter sports. Since 1999, PBS Holding, Inc and its subsidiaries have been volunteering and supporting the Special Olympics.
